UHC Oxford 2015

Message from UHC - Due to a recent increased volume of retro-member termination requests, we wanted to take the time to remind you that changes to a group’s eligible employees and the employees’ dependents must be received by us according to the timeframe indicated in the group’s contract.  Our Group Policies and Group Enrollment Agreements (“Group Contract”) specify the timeframe required to submit member-level eligibility changes (i.e., additions, terminations, reinstatements, changes). For example: timeframe for NY 1-50 small groups is 60 days.

This policy has been enforced since June 1, 2013 to all Oxford fully insured commercial group customers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut unless prohibited by state law or COBRA.

At UnitedHealthcare, we continually strive for accuracy and efficiency in our claims payment and premium billing processes, including those processes used with our Oxford  platform. We have identified an area where we can make even greater progress toward achieving this goal, with your help.  See below to review Group Policies and Group Enrollment Agreements.
