IRS Delays health coverage Reporting and  ACA Employer “Pay or Play” Penalties
On July 2, 2013, the US Treasury announced the delay of related information reporting requirements for applicable large employers (50+ full-time equivalent employees) and the federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) employer responsibility “pay or play” rules set to take effect in 2014. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued notice 2013-45, which is the formal guidance that implements the delay of certain parts of the affordable care act (ACA) until 2015.
