Cigna, Informed on Reform News Update - On Jan. 22, President Trump signed into law a short-term spending bill (called a Continuing Resolution or "CR") to reopen and fund the federal government for three weeks after it was passed by both chambers of Congress earlier in the day. Attached to the bill are delays or suspensions of the "Cadillac Tax," Health Insurer Tax, and Medical Device Tax. The bill will eliminate $12.7 billion in ACA health insurer fee taxes for 2019.

The IRS has released draft versions of the Forms 1094-B, 1095-B, 1094-C, and 1095-C that employers and insurers will use in early 2018 to report on health coverage offered in the 2017 calendar year. Final versions will be released later.
